On top of the world

Christmas fever in Downtown SB is starting..!

This seems to be the first time since I arrived in California that I can take a moment to sit down and actually try and write a blog entry! Problem is, I don't know what to write about first because way too much has already happened (as always).

I'd rather talk about the very near future, which will bring D. and me on a collosal roadtrip through the Southwest, most likely including, but not limited to, San Francisco, Salten Sea, Yosemite, Death Valley, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Zion, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and the like.
While I've been busy struggling with schoolwork of which there is tons and tons (though after some turbulent weeks, the pace has slowed down a little over thanksgiving break but will now most likely pick up speed again since finals are coming up in two weeks), D. has delved into the planning and 'organization' (if you cancall it thus) of our tour through this precious land.
Talking about precious land, I have managed to climb/hike/crawl on the top of an actual mountain, up to one of the waterfalls of Yosemite. I have no idea how I survived this ordeal, as I usually stay away from anything that might be considered sport or exercise, but I found myself 2,700 feet/ 823 m upon ground after three hours of near-death-experience (same goes for the way down). Proper analogue photos will follow (I will give my precious films in the hands of a photo lab in LA, and they better not mess the films up or lose them!!), but here are some boring unartistic digital photos for now.

Enjoy the view!
