Refreshing Orange & Black Tea

Here's a little recipe for a super quick, super easy and super refreshing summer drink!

1 Orange
3 tsp agave syrup
2 tsp cinnamon
4-5 tsp black tea, loose

Bring 1 liter water to a boil in a tea kettle. Prepare the tea by putting the cinnamon and agave syrup into a tea pot/glass jar/whatever you use for tea. Measure 4-5 teaspoons of black tea of your choice into a teabag. I usually use the St.Petersburg black tea or simply Earl Grey. Add the boiling water. Cut & squeeze the orange and add to the tea. Let the black tea ziehen for 5 to 10 Minutes, but don't forget to take it out or else it might be bitter (unless you like it that way, of course). Let cool and serve!

Though many people prefer to drink iced tea during the summer, I am usually too impatient to wait until the tea has cooled down, so I drink it while it's still warm (and that is still very refreshing!) Otherwise, just let it cool for an hour or so and put in the fridge and/or add ice. You might want to use a little bit more of everything if you intend to add ice later on, though, because the melting ice might make the whole endeauvour a little too watery – I yet have to try that myself. Also tastes great the next day!
